    Job Description

    UW Medicine’s Nursing Development department** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Administrative Assistant

    WORK SCHEDULE

    + 8 hours per week

    + Day Shift

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

    + Play a key role in supporting student placement processes and general office operations

    PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Assist with student placement logistics and coordination

    + Perform administrative tasks including filing, tracking, data collection, and data entry into the Learning Management System (LMS)

    + Maintain accurate records of staff participation in continuing education programs

    + Coordinate supplies and equipment for nursing professional development activities

    + Provide excellent customer service in person, via email, and over the phone

    + Communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal formats

    + Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and accommodate unforeseen delays

    + Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changing requirements and unexpected situations

    + Support a healthy work environment by resolving conflicts tactfully and escalating unresolved issues appropriately

    + Contribute to the growth and competency of team members

    + Exhibit accountability for personal development and completion of assigned responsibilities

    + Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications to produce high-quality work

    REQUIREMENTS

    + Requires High School/ GED AND two years of office or administrative support experience.

    + Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
