JOB SUMMARY:
The Scheduler at Polaris Pharmacy Services is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients and patients. This role involves managing inquiries, coordinating services, and ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders. The Scheduler acts as a liaison between clients and the pharmacy, ensuring that all needs are met promptly and efficiently.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about pharmacy services.
+ Coordinate and facilitate communication between clients, patients, and pharmacy staff to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
+ Manage and resolve any client or patient concerns, escalating issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
+ Maintain comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy services, policies, and procedures to effectively assist clients and patients.
+ Ensure all client and patient interactions are documented accurately in the system for future reference and follow-up.
+ Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure client and patient needs are met, including prescription refills, medication delivery, and other services.
+ Assist in the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures to enhance the client and patient experience.
+ Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry trends and best practices in customer service and pharmacy operations.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
+ Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction.
+ Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proficient in using computer systems and software relevant to the position.
+ Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in performing tasks.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
+ High School diploma or equivalent required
+ Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
+ Proven track record of handling customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

+ May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
+ The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, walk
+ May be necessary to work extended hours as needed
+ May lift and/or move up to 30 pounds

HOLIDAY & PTO POLICY
+ Paid holidays are provided annually, with 6 days offered each year, along with 5 sick days.
+ Employees earn up to 10 PTO days each year, with rollover options and milestone bonuses.
+ Employees have the option to cash out up to 10 PTO hours each quarter for added financial flexibility.
Please note, because we are a pharmacy most of our locations are open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and therefore schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
