• Audio and Visual Technician

    General Summary

    Provides a variety of audio-visual support services and expertise. Operates and maintains highly technical audio-visual equipment in various venues and settings.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Essential Functions:

    + Operates and manages the use and maintenance of internet video-conferencing equipment.

    + Operates and manages the use and maintenance of Smart Boards, LCD projectors and audio systems.

    + Operates and manages video archiving systems.

    + Maintains an audio-visual equipment pool. Coordinates requests for equipment use and ensures that equipment is delivered to designated area and is returned after use.

    Common Expectations:

    + Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment and safety standards.

    + Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings.

    + Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.

    + Maintains appropriate records, reports, and files as required.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education:

    + High School Diploma or GED Required

    + Associates Degree Preferred

    Work Experience:

    + 2 years Media technical services or computer science experience. Required

    Driver's License Statement:

    Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.

    Courses and Training:

    + Microsoft certification (MCTS or MCITP). Upon Hire Preferred

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Strong Windows PC desktop skills and server application management skills.
