    Job Description

    Job Title: Adult Education English Language Learner (ELL) Instructor

    Summary:

    We are seeking a part-time evening instructor to teach English Language Learners (ELL) for up to 10 hours per week. This role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of adult education teaching experience.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide effective ELL instruction that integrates workforce training, employment exploration, and EL/Civics standards

    + Incorporate technology and a variety of interactive teaching methods to engage students

    + Administer standardized assessments and maintain required documentation and student follow-up

    + Participate in professional development to support continuous improvement

    + Perform additional ELL duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree required

    + At least two years of successful teaching experience (adult education preferred)

    + Experience with ELL instruction preferred

    + Basic technology skills to support student learning

    + Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills

     

    Position Type: Part-Time

    Job Requirements

    Bachelor degree preferred.
