Job Description
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in assigned area(s). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Ability to Coach / Mentor Apprentices
JLG / Scissor Lift / Fork Truck Certified
Confined Space Certified
Ability to work at height
Maintenance Management System (CMMS/Maximo).
Trouble Shooting expertise Root Cause Analysis
Inspect, repair, modify and install Mechanical equipment including conveyors, doors, fans, pumps, machinery, levelers, hydraulic equipment, mechanical equipment.
Install, align, take apart and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools
Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, jacks, and tractors, to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of machinery
Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls
Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
Operate machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set- up of machinery
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation by using hand and power tools and welding equipment
Research and specify repair parts from manuals and computer sources

Qualifications
BASELINE QUALIFICATIONS: Possess a current Millwright Journeymen's Card.
State of Michigan Millwright Card
Back-Flow Preventer Certification
High Pressure Steam Certification
Confined Space Certified
High School Diploma / Associates Degree
Seven (7) plus years? experience
Welding Certification
State of Michigan Master Plumber License required
Back-Flow Preventer Certification
High Pressure Steam Certification
Confined Space Certified
Good verbal communication skills
Good eyesight, hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good physical health, strength, and stamina
Ability to work alone and as a member of a team.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Ability to read drawings and blueprints and interpret specifications
Knowledge of safe operating procedures
Ability to understand and apply industry standards for installation, repairs, and safety
Ability to operate power tools and equipment
Ability to operate computer-based equipment
Familiarity with computerized IWMS/CMMS work order process
Adaptability to work in a diverse environment, focusing on customer satisfaction under high-stress conditions, and organize an effective response to day¬ to-day requirements, and one-of-a-kind extremes
Communications skills that invite credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment among key stakeholders in operations, critical facilities, events, and line supervisors
Responsiveness to supervisory direction, productivity, quality, and commitment
Administrative coordination, regarding job assignments, productivity, time management
Time Management skills
Demonstrated ability to earn maintenance skills.
Demonstrated skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Skills in using predictive maintenance techniques and simplified root cause analysis of equipment failures.
Ability to provide technical guidance to non-technical or production operators.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of the operating practices of preventive maintenance
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
