As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular patrols and being a visible presence throughout the facility. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, assisting employees and visitors, and responding to security-related incidents with professionalism and care. This position is a driving post, so you will also be responsible for operating company vehicles as you carry out your patrol duties. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location, especially in a manufacturing and industrial setting.

+ Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity as observed during patrols.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while performing assigned duties.

+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
