    Compensantion range: $ 24.11 - $25.32 (based on experience)|plus weeky production bonus

    Basic Job Functions:

    + Ensures machinery and mechanical equipment operation by completing preventive maintenance requirements on presses, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

    + Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.

    + Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.

    + Assess the time needed to complete a task.

    + Determine the dimensional changes in the parts requirements by inspecting and using the onsite Machine Shop.

    + Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.

    + Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.

    + Fabricates repair parts if needed by using machine shop assistance.

    + Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; informs Supervisor when removed from inventory.

    + Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

    + Maintains production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + 1 year of experience as an industrial mechanic in a manufacturing facility, or completion of an acredited industrial technician schooling progrma.

    + Experience with equipment maintenance, technical understanding, technical zeal, and others.

    + Familiarity with drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics.

    + Must be able to work any shift as required, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 2-3 years of experience as an industrial mechanic in a manufacturing facility.

    + Industrial Electrical experience, a plus.
