**Pay Range:** $89,960 - $128,710/year.

Rush salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. The pay range for each role reflects Rush’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.

**Job Duties:** Rush Medical Group seeks a Senior Financial Analyst in Chicago, IL to analyze and evaluate financial data. Support leadership in the analysis and evaluation of tactical and operational components of both existing and potential physician practices. Evaluate physician practice operations, assess contribution to business objectives, and recommend goals. Collaborate with finance leadership, department administrators, and directors in developing ad-hoc reports on productivity, financial variances, operational metrics, and other reporting needs utilizing MS Excel vlookup, pivot tables, and sumifs. Prepare and analyze quarterly (and ad hoc) reports for dissemination to leadership. Support development and implementation of the evaluation and assessment of physician practices and make recommendations to senior leaders. Collect and analyze data and coordinate the report on key financial and operational metrics including new visits, ancillary testing and procedures, physician referrals, productivity, and access. Analyze new opportunities/relocations in consideration of business objectives, space, and capital requirements and return-on-investment projections. Review actual versus budget performance monthly and assist with budget variance explanations for needed departments. Contribute to the operating and capital budgeting process with key stakeholders and partner with Corporate Finance on capital allocation. Assist with return-on-investment analyses for capital and operating investments. Ensure alignment of department revenues and expenses. Process labor distributions and labor cost transfers. Assist departments with provider dashboards monthly to show volumes and relative value unit data compared to fiscal year targets. Telecommuting permitted 2 days per week.

**Minimum Requirements:** Requires a master’s degree in finance, business administration or a related field and 3 years of experience as a financial analyst, accounting or audit analyst, compliance associate or directly related occupation . Experience must include 3 years of experience in each of the following: (1) data abstraction and report analysis; (2) preparation of financial and operational dashboards; and (3) MS Excel including use of vlookup, pivot tables, and sumifs. Experience also must include 1 year of experience in each of the following: (1) Healthcare Finance (2) Variance Analysis; (3) Budget development and financial forecasting; (4) utilizing ERP Software; (5) Data extraction using MS Access & SQL.
