    Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a _Medical Assistant_ in Mt. Kisco, NY! This role is in person / onsite. Please review the details below and apply with an updated resume.

     

    **Position Type** : Contract - possible extension/hire

    **Schedule** : Monday through Friday 7:45a-5:30p/Weekends 9a-3p

    **Pay** : $22.30 to $24.30 per hour

    **Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant Include** :

    + Prepares patient and treatment rooms; sterilizes medical equipment

    + Rooms patients, obtains health history, and measures and documents vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, height, weight)

    + Documents patient care and medical history using NextGen electronic medical record (EMR) software

    + Assists physicians with minor, in-office procedures

    + Schedules appointments, completes prior authorizations, processes medication refills, handles referrals, answers calls and completes necessary paperwork

    + Performs CLIA waived testing

    **Qualifications** **of the Medical Assistant** :

    + High school graduate or GED equivalent

    + Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or ability to obtain within 9 months of hire

    **Pay Details:** $22.30 to $24.30 per hour
