Job Description
As a Quality Engineer, you will lead improvement initiatives in manufacturing, focusing on automation and digital systems. You will validate processes through capability studies and gauge R&R analysis, resolve quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions, and support manufacturing operations with audits and quality analysis. Additionally, you will manage supplier corrective actions, collaborate with procurement, assist with New Product Introduction, and maintain accurate documentation and quality records.
Responsibilities
+ Lead improvement initiatives in manufacturing, including automation and digital systems.
+ Validate processes through capability studies and gauge R&R analysis.
+ Resolve quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
+ Support manufacturing operations with audits and quality analysis.
+ Manage supplier corrective actions and collaborate with procurement.
+ Assist with New Product Introduction and integration of new technologies.

Work Environment
The facility manufactures forklifts and distributes globally, engaging in both continuous manufacturing and custom project-based work. Employees will work a Monday to Thursday schedule with occasional overtime on Friday and remote work as needed. The work environment is typical of a manufacturing facility, being cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The position is for the 1st shift. Employees enjoy a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week with occasional overtime, promoting a great work-life balance. The facility is very clean, and employees have the opportunity to work on interesting projects and custom orders.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Berea, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $38.46/hr.
