Description We are in search of a Paralegal to be a part of our team in San Jose, California. The role focuses on providing administrative and legal support within our industry. The Paralegal will be responsible for preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, and assisting in trial preparation. This role is an ideal fit for individuals adept at maintaining organization amidst a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Skillfully draft legal documents such as pleadings, subpoenas, and discovery requests and responses.

• Ensure meticulous preparation of depositions, legal memos, and trial binders.

• Conduct comprehensive administrative and legal research projects as needed.

• Actively assist in the preparation for depositions and trials, including aiding in the preparation of witnesses.

• Construct exhibits and additional demonstrative evidence to be used during trial procedure.

• Draft settlement agreements according to standard legal practices.

• Manage court filings and calendar management efficiently.

• Handle additional projects and duties as assigned by the team.

• Maintain a consistent method of organization and ensure the ability to handle litigation deadlines efficiently.

• Exhibit proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Lexis Nexis, and Outlook. Requirements

• Proven experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably 3+ years

• Proficient in Trial Preparation

• Capable of handling Discovery and Discovery Responses effectively

• Experience with Ediscovery is necessary

• Familiarity with Court Filings

• Ability to Draft Legal Documents with precision

• Experience with Calendar - Docket is required

• Proficiency in Calendar Management is essential
