Job Title: Processing Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Processing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the intake, evaluation, processing, and communication of complaints and adverse events, ensuring compliance with government regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt to various tasks. You will work full-time, onsite at least four days a week, contributing to the completion of project milestones and enhancing our processes to meet regulatory reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Support intake evaluation, processing, communication, and investigation of complaints and adverse events according to procedures and government regulations.
+ Provide administrative expertise in the receipt, processing, and reporting of product defect complaints, serving as the primary contact.
+ Ensure complete and accurate records and reporting of Medical Device Reports or adverse events as required by regulatory agencies.
+ Address and expedite product complaints under the company's complaint policy and procedures, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
+ Provide technical expertise to optimize complaint processing systems.
+ Maintain and monitor systems to ensure all product complaint investigations are appropriately investigated and concluded according to the company's complaint handling procedure.
+ Support projects to develop or enhance programs and processes to meet regulatory reporting requirements.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
+ Attention to detail and ability to adapt to multiple activities/tasks.
+ Ability to read and type the English language proficiently.
+ Practical knowledge and demonstrated competence in the job area, typically obtained through advanced education and experience.
+ Bachelor's degree, preferably in science, healthcare, or engineering.
+ 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Self-starter, self-motivating, and detail-oriented.
+ Proficient in technical writing and skilled at working in a computer/desk setting.
+ Some knowledge of medical terminology and experience working in databases.
+ Familiarity with good documentation practices (GDP), good manufacturing practices (GMP), and quality systems in a regulated environment.
Work Environment
The Processing Specialist will work full-time, onsite at least four days per week, contributing to a collaborative environment that values innovation and problem-solving. You will be expected to communicate effectively, primarily with internal contacts, and occasionally participate in cross-functional assignments. The role involves working independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects.

This is a Contract position based out of Lafayette, US-CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
