Job Title: South-FNS Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated South-FNS Technician to join our dynamic team in a hospital kitchen. This role involves working in a high-paced environment serving over 700 guests daily, making it ideal for those with fast-paced restaurant experience. The candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to follow directions well and work independently.

Responsibilities

+ Primarily responsible for washing dishes.

+ Trained to stock food items.

+ Slicing and dicing various food items.

+ Servicing the dining area efficiently.

+ Rotating shifts with either 6:30 AM - 3 PM or 12:30 PM - 9 PM.

+ Working every other weekend as part of the shift rotation.

Essential Skills

+ 1.5+ years of experience in the food service industry.

+ A minimum of 1.5 years of job tenure at previous employers.

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs and push 100 lbs.

+ Strong customer service orientation with professionalism suitable for a hospital setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with food service, cleaning, food preparation, and dish washing.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

The role is based in a hospital cafeteria, requiring a neat appearance and good personal hygiene. Tattoos must be covered, facial piercings are not permitted, and heavy fragrances should be avoided. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.75 - $18.50/hr.
