    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as an Engineering Lab Technician and contribute to the development of cutting-edge test equipment for motor and battery manufacturing. We are seeking a hands-on individual who is enthusiastic about setting up equipment and conducting tests on prototype builds. This role involves working with both manual and automated test stations, requiring a blend of mechanical and electrical skills.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate test equipment for prototype builds.

    + Run parts through a mix of manual and automated test stations.

    + Modify PLC code, LabVIEW, or C programming as needed for builds.

    + Assemble and validate fixtures on the equipment to ensure optimal performance.

    + Work with and understand battery systems and electrical components.

    Essential Skills

    + Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems.

    + Experience with test equipment and automation.

    + Familiarity with software such as PLC code, LabVIEW, or C programming.

    + Knowledge of battery systems, motors, and test fixtures.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Minimum Associate's Degree in Automation, Electrical, or Mechanical.

    + Demonstrated hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical products or equipment.

    + Good attitude and strong work ethic.

    + Position is suitable for recent Bachelor's Degree graduates who enjoy hands-on work.

    Work Environment

    Work in a brand new, state-of-the-art test lab with a small, dedicated team. Engage in exciting prototype work in a collaborative and innovative environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/hr.
