Job Description: Project Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead and manage 40 MM programs as the systems prime/sole supplier for DoD programs related to 40mm. This role involves overseeing innovative manufacturing processes and materials, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and supporting technical insertion activities.
Responsibilities
+ Research and develop new manufacturing processes and materials.
+ Analyze existing processes to identify areas for improvement.
+ Evaluate designs and plan equipment layouts for production.
+ Conduct tests to assess process efficiency.
+ Ensure safety and compliance with environmental regulations.
+ Collaborate with engineers, chemists, and production staff to maintain quality and efficiency.
+ Support ballistics testing and analyze resulting data.
+ Develop and maintain failure analysis procedures in line with company quality policies.
+ Manage project implementation and support technical insertion activities.
+ Analyze drawings and technical data to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
+ Participate in weekly Integrated Product Teams (IPT) as needed.
+ Develop cost estimates for process implementation and production.
+ Document all created and modified processes.

Work Environment

Work alongside Inspectors, Manufacturing, and the SQE team in a growth-minded company that values education with tuition reimbursement. The work schedule is a 9/80 work schedule, with four nine-hour days and an eight-hour Friday, alternating Fridays off. Travel is required 25-30% of the time, primarily to Arkansas and occasionally to other locations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
