The Job You Will Perform:

This new position will assist journeyman-level IEs in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently.

Duties for IEs include, but are not restricted to, electrical circuit troubleshooting & repair, conduit & wire installation, lighting repair, PLC troubleshooting & repair, drive troubleshooting & repair, Instrumentation & control valve calibration, troubleshooting & repair, and HVAC work.

The Skills You Will Bring:

Minimum Qualifications

+ Ten (10) years of experience in any of the following Maintenance

+ Skill Areas: INSTRUMENTATION, ELECTRICAL.

+ Must be currently 18 years of age or older and eligible for employment in the U.S.

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Industrial technology degree or certificate from accredited college or trade school in Instrumentation or Electrical disciplines

+ Basic computer skills

+ Able to function in a team environment.

PLUS: Must be willing to meet the following requirements:

+ Pre-employment and periodic drug screens for illicit use of drugs

+ Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule

+ Work overtime, holidays and/or weekends regularly and with last minute notification.

+ Wear required safety equipment

+ Operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery or elevated working surfaces with proper safety training and safety protection).

REQUIRED SKILLS

+ Experience with and troubleshooting skills for the following:

+ High-voltage and power distribution

+ AC and DC motors and drives

+ Control systems (DCS, PLCs, PCs, Analytical Equipment)

+ Control valves

+ Pneumatics, hydraulics, calibration, and use of test equipment

+ Knowledge of P&IDs, instrument loops, and electrical schematics

+ Strong math/physics understanding.

+ Instrumentation background on the Instrumentation Electrical side.
