Job Description
TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Commercial Low Voltage Installation Technician to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage electrical systems in commercial environments, including:
+ Security systems
+ Audio and video systems
+ Telecommunications equipment
+ Other low voltage devices
•️ Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems in commercial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Install and program security, audio/video, and telecom systems
• Troubleshoot and correct wiring and connectivity issues
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
• Maintain accurate records of work completed
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certificate preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial low voltage/electrical systems
• Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
