In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary treatment team to create a nurturing and responsive environment tailored to each child's unique needs. You'll provide direct counseling, contribute to special education processes, and participate in innovative research-all while making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide individual counseling to students not receiving mandated services

+ Actively participate in the Committee on Special Education (CSE) process

+ Collaborate with educators, families, and clinicians to support student success

+ Contribute to research and program development initiatives

+ Promote emotional wellness and resilience across school communities

Requirements:

+ Master's Degree in School Psychologist with Current Certification as a NY State School Psychologist.

+ Experience with children with trauma histories.

+ Experience with classroom-wide evidence-based treatments.
