• Facilities & Maintenance Manager

    Hoyt Archery (Salt Lake City, UT)


    Hoyt Archery, an industry leader in archery and bowhunting gear, is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee our equipment, building, and infrastructure while driving efficiency and reliability across our manufacturing environment.

    Job Duties:

    + Oversee, lead and develop the maintenance team (technicians, planner/scheduler, buyer) to ensure equipment and facilities are operating at their best.

    + Manage preventive and corrective maintenance using our CMMS system (eMaint Enterprise), tracking downtime, repairs, and costs.

    + Partner with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and support new equipment installations.

    + Oversee contractors, vendors, and parts inventory to ensure quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

    + Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA, building codes, city licensing, and insurance requirements.

    + Maintain facilities (structure, utilities, grounds, lighting, restrooms, etc.) to reflect the high standards of our brand.

    + Support companywide safety initiatives, including lockout/tagout procedures, EH&S requirements, and regulatory permits.

    Required Skills

    + Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills with proven ability to manage and grow a team.

    + Knowledge of OSHA, NEC, NFPA, building codes, and facility systems (electrical, plumbing, gas, drainage).

    + Hands-on experience with maintenance methods such as 6S, RCA, Lean, FMA, and RCM.

    + Proficiency in CMMS systems and common business software (Excel, Word, Outlook).

    Education & Experience

    + Associate’s degree or trade school completion preferred.

    + 5+ years machine maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

    + 3+ years electrical/industrial wiring experience.

    + 1+ year plumbing (PVC, ABS, Black Iron) and basic carpentry experience.

    + 5+ years supervisory experience in maintenance leadership.
