    ### Job Duties

    What You’ll Do

     

    Safely operate tractor-trailers and side-dumps on local routes.

     

    Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers.

     

    Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.

     

    Report safety issues or required repairs promptly.

     

    Complete delivery schedules on time while following all safe-driving guidelines.

     

    Handle paperwork accurately, including load documentation and delivery confirmations.

     

    Secure tractors, trailers, and freight at all times.

     

    Unload equipment/materials and maintain a clean trailer and work area.

     

    Log hours of service daily in accordance with DOT and company requirements.

     

    Perform other related duties as assigned.

     

    ### Minimum Education Required

    High school diploma/GED (or equivalent)

     

    ### Minimum Experience Required

    Valid CDL Class A license

     

    1–2 years commercial driving experience (including at least 9 months tractor-trailer within the past 3 years)

     

    Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years

     

    Current DOT Health Card (or ability to obtain one)

     

    Experience with side-dumps, garbage removal, sand, gravel, or construction waste hauling is a plus
