    Insight Global is hiring a data systems analyst for one of their top financial services clients. This candidate will be responsible for creating functional and technical documentation for data provisioning pipelines (Source to target mappings, Data environment diagrams, etc..), collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions, conducting ad-hoc analysis and deep dives into specific financial areas or projects. Additionally, they will be in charge of collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data from various sources and ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security in financial databases and systems. This person will be recommending process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance data analysis efficiency. Continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and technologies are essential for success in this role. Pay ranges from $55-75/hr based on experience.

    Skills and Requirements

    Must Haves:

    • 5+ years of experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

    • Must have experience creating functional and technical documentation for data provisioning pipelines (i.e. Source to target mappings, Data environment diagrams, etc..)

    • Experience doing Source to Target Mappings, Basic understanding of data modeling and ETL

    • Experience working on credit card projects/data (retail banking)

    - Data analysis, Intermediate level, Ability to analyze data using common DA tooling Plusses:

    • Bilingual Spanish proficiency

    • Professional certifications in finance domain or data domain would be an added advantage.

    • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.

    • Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and tools.

    • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
