Job Description
Insight Global is currently seeking a highly skilled Civil Designer to join an engineering firm operating in the southeast. In this role your key responsibilities will include: Develop detailed civil design plans for water, wastewater, stormwater, and drainage systems; Prepare grading, utility, and site layout plans using Civil 3D; Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Perform quantity take-offs and assist in cost estimation. This position is hybrid and will require you to be on-site 2-3 days per week in either Mobile, AL; Nashville, TN; or Gulfport, MS.

Skills and Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in civil design, with a focus on water, wastewater, stormwater, and drainage.
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and some hydrology.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Experience designing parking lots and industrial roadways (non-municipal).
- Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory standards.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
