Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Tooling Processor to join our team!

Responsibilities

+ Report to Waltonen Processing Manager

+ Contribute to the overall completion of important and complex engineering tasks and projects

+ Support major and minor engineering projects within a specified area of administrative and technical guidance to a group of employees

+ Develop product sequence sheets (flow charts)

+ Create and maintain time studies for operators and machines.

+ Process with ergonomics in mind for operator stations

+ Coordinate resources to achieve project objectives.

+ Manage timing and weld documentation.

+ Ensure coordination between design groups, regulatory functions, and internal activities.

+ Prepare general specifications

+ Support, coordinate, and execute all quality initiatives

+ Meet all customer requirements, specifications, and requests

+ Suggest and support all continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

+ 2+ years of relevant experience

+ Proficiency in Siemens UG/NX for navigation and observation.

+ Experience in light or heavy automotive body-in-white (BIW) engineering.

+ Strong organizational and planning skills

+ Strong attention to detail and structured processes.

+ Strong written and face-to-face communication skills in large and small teams

+ Willingness to work overtime as needed, with the ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads

Preferred Qualifications

+ Familiarity with Siemens Process Designer or eM-Planner

+ Knowledge of GM standard deliverables (STDS, WESS, SPD, XRWD’s).

+ Understanding of peripheral automotive BIW departments and their deliverables.
