    Position Summary...

     

    Join the Global Licenses and Permits Governance team as the Group Director. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a global team and move the program needle on closing control gaps, identifying program enhancements, and helping to build a sustainable program that mitigates risk. As Group Director, you will oversee compliance initiatives, coordinate with business leaders, and drive strategic improvements across licensing and permitting processes globally. Your leadership will directly influence the company's ability to operate securely and efficiently in all of our markets, ensuring regulatory compliance and minimizing operational risks.

     

    What you'll do...

     

    Lead a global team of approximately 340 associates responsible for acquiring, renewing, and managing nearly 180,000 construction and operational licenses and permits.

     

    Oversee the consistent implementation of program requirements on a worldwide scale as the team leader.

     

    Develop and communicate a comprehensive global vision and strategy to identify, address, and mitigate emerging risks across all business units, markets, and acquisitions.

     

    Ensure the team operates with optimal efficiency and effectiveness by utilizing advanced IT platforms and AI-driven solutions.

     

    Collaborate cross-functionally and globally with internal and external stakeholders to respond to evolving business needs, such as new products or services and modifications to growth strategies.

     

    Identify and implement cross-market best practices to enhance overall program performance.

     

    Establish robust recruiting, succession planning, and associate development processes to ensure the team possesses critical expertise.

     

    Provide support to all markets in mitigating and preventing program-related risks.

    Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Legal, Forensic Accountant or related field and 6 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 8 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 5 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office. 5 years’ of supervisory experience.
