Responsibilities
We’re looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician IV to join our Plant Engineering Services team. In this role, you’ll take on advanced-level maintenance work to keep our facilities and equipment running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
+ Perform advanced maintenance on physical structures, HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, utilities, and grounds.
+ Help extend the service life of company assets by ensuring everything stays in top working condition.
+ Step in as a leader when the manager or supervisor is unavailable.
+ Direct and guide other technicians to complete projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications
Education:
+ High School Diploma or GED, required.
+ Associates degree in a related field (HVAC, Mechanical, etc.) OR 2 years formal and documented apprenticeship in plant operations/maintenance in a healthcare facility, required.
Experience:
+ Ten years' experience or more performing plant operations and general maintenance in a healthcare facility or similar work environment, required.
+ Supervisory experience, preferred.
License:
+ Valid Driver's License, required
Additional Skills (required):
+ Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
+ Ability to successfully apply customer satisfaction standards. Knowledgeable in the use of a variety of hand and power tools used in facility maintenance.
+ Ability to interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority.
Additional Skills (preferred):
+ Knowledge of the principles of design, operation and repair or all types of mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
+ Knowledge of building codes, electrical codes, fire codes, and The Joint Commission standards for the Environment of Care.
+ Knowledge in reading and understanding blueprints and electrical schematics.
