    _Boeing Global Services_** _is seeking an_ **_Associate or Mid-Level Product Review Engineers_** _to support Liaison Engineering team in_ **_Huntington Beach, CA._

     

    _At Boeing, you will hold the unique role of being the production-facing, hands-on daily support to the_ _C13 fabrication shop and greater BGS supply chain._ _The main focus of this role is to support_ _nonconforming spare parts fabricated internally at C13 and externally within BGS supply chain._ _As a Liaison Engineer, you will have the opportunity to gain technical knowledge of every aspect of the aircraft - from primary structure to interiors, aerodynamics, avionics, and more. You will address defects as they arise in production, assess potential solutions, analyze the integrity of the solutions, work with multiple job functions to verify that the solutions are attainable for manufacturing, and implement the safest solution to restore the_ _spare detail part or assembly_ _to its original intended engineering purpose._

     

    _Every day, you will exercise independent thinking, technical problem solving, interdisciplinary communication, peer collaboration, and leadership within the factory setting. Liaison engineers undergo an extended training rotation program in preparation to acquire Material Review Board authority and gain understanding of all aspects of the airplane life-cycle; from fabrication, to assembly, delivery, and even in-service fleet support. The liaison engineering job function will immerse you in a multifaceted environment which will rapidly propel your expertise of aircraft structure, design, and systems._

     

    _The Product Review Engineer works across all functions to ensure corrective action is implemented. Designs responsibilities include review/approve design revisions to enable improvement in production processes, with coordination across all functions to ensure design engineering concurrence._

     

    _Product Review Engineers are expected to demonstrate innovative approaches in process improvement activities and the ability to work with multiple disciplines within engineering, manufacturing and other organizations._

    _Primary Responsibilities:_

    + _Applies knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle._

    + _Analyzes, conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances._

    + _Applies engineering principles to research technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions._

    + _Identifies documents, analyzes reported problems and communicates deviations that could impact design intent and safety; recommends and manages resolution._

    + _Develops and implements product/process improvements._

    + _Supports Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participates in design reviews._

    + _Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment._

    + _Designs interim structural repairs, conducts static strength analysis,_ _coordinates with appropriate design groups._

    _Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):_

    + _ABET accredited engineering degree in the field of Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, and Aerospace/Aeronautical._

    + _2+ years of experience in an engineering discipline._

    _Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):_

    + _Current or previous member of the Materials Review Board (MRB)._

    + _5+ years of experience in an engineering discipline, preferably in the Aerospace industry._

    Experienced-Level:

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Associates) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Masters, Bachelors or Associates +3 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.

    Relocation:

    Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

    Pay Range (Associate): $83,700 to $102,300

     

    Pay Range (Mid-Level): $101,700 to $124,300
