    Position Title: Personnel Security Specialist/Adjudicator

     

    Reports To: Program Manager

     

    Clearance Type: Active Top Secret

     

    Work Location: National Capital Region

     

    Start Date: On Contract Award

    Job Description:

    Advantage SCI is accepting applications to support a federal agency personnel security program.

    Summary of duties include but not limited to:

    + Implementing specific guidelines and meet localized requirements to monitor program effectiveness.

    + Reviewing, evaluating, and adjudicating reports of investigations to determine whether to grant, deny, revoke, suspend, or restrict access and suitability issues.

    + Determining the adequacy and completeness of the investigation to evaluate the authenticity and pertinence of the data at hand.

    + Occasional travel within the US may be required.

    Required Experience:

    Required Qualifications

    + Active Top Secret security clearance

    + Bachelor’s degree

    + 5 years’ experience in personnel security and adjudication.

    + Adjudication certification from OPM is required (Fundamentals of Suitability).

    + USAccess Training Course certification is required (GSA - Registrar, Activator, Sponsor, Adjudicator)

    Working Conditions:

    + Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time

    + Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach

    + Able to sit, stand, walk, run

    + Able to lift up to 50 pounds
