Our client, the mechanical contracting industry, is seeking a Plumbing & HVAC Piping Department Manager to join their team. As a Department Manager, you will be part of the operations supporting project estimation, management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Pay Range:** $100,000 - $160,000 based on experience

What's the Job?
+ Manage all plumbing and HVAC piping projects from bidding through project completion
+ Perform detailed estimating, job costing, and budgeting for piping and plumbing systems
+ Set up new projects, define scopes of work, and assist with initial planning and logistics
+ Schedule projects and allocate manpower to ensure optimal resource utilization
+ Coordinate purchasing and procurement of materials and equipment, maintaining communication with vendors and subcontractors
What's Needed?
+ Journeyman-level tradesperson certification or equivalent experience in mechanical contracting, engineering, or construction management
+ Prior experience in estimating and managing plumbing/HVAC piping projects is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate
+ State of MN or WI Master Plumbing license and the ability to obtain either
+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software
+ Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills
