    Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

     

    Hybrid: 3 days in office (Mon, Wed, & Thurs), 2 days remote (Tue & Fri).

    Position Type: Full Time

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Record ledger transactions related to revenue and expenses by compiling and analyzing account information

    + Create journal entries to record and maintain management accounts properly

    + Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling transactions

    + Perform and analyze balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting

    + Responsible for all Intercompany transactions and reconciliations

    + Develop and implement accounting procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency

    + Review, analyze, and record all Payroll and Payroll-related JE’s

    + Back-up to Payroll processing reporting

    + Analyze and prepare all Employee Benefits activities

    + Complete all State-mandated Tax and Compliance reporting.

    + Responsible for all insurance-related reporting

    + Assist in preparing budget submissions and audit responses

    + Month-end Close responsibilities, including timely completion of all checklist items

    + Operating Expense Analysis – review monthly OPEX expenses and analyze results versus previous months and budget

    + Responsible for reviewing and approving credit card expenses

    + Work collaboratively as part of a team to address Ad Hoc projects and challenges associated with a nimble and fast-growing organization

    Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

    + 5-7 years of accounting experience, managerial experience preferred

    + Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot tables

    + Strong data analytical skills

    + Excellent attention to detail

    + Self-starter with good collaboration skills

     

    Physical Effort/Activities: On a continuous basis will work in an office environment, sit at desk for a long period of time, intermittently answer telephone and use a computer to communicate. On an occasional basis in the performance of duties, may be required to walk, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
