Job Title: HVAC Service and Install Technicians - Starting at $28+

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced electrician to expand their skill set into the HVAC field. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in electrical systems, including pulling wire, reading schematics, and working with control systems. You will receive hands-on training in HVAC-specific applications such as thermostat wiring, pump control, and building automation systems. Additionally, training in HVAC programming and system integration will be provided.

Responsibilities

+ Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical components of HVAC systems.

+ Pull wire for thermostats, pumps, and control panels within HVAC systems.

+ Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

+ Assist in the installation and configuration of Building Automation Systems.

+ Collaborate with HVAC technicians and project managers to ensure seamless system integration.

+ Learn and apply HVAC control logic and programming under the guidance of senior technicians.

+ Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety standards.

+ Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 2 years of experience as a commercial or industrial electrician.

+ Strong understanding of electrical theory, wiring methods, and NEC code compliance.

+ Experience pulling wire, terminating connections, and reading schematics.

+ Familiarity with low-voltage systems and control wiring.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bonus: Experience with Building Automation Systems or HVAC controls.

+ Willingness to learn HVAC-specific applications and programming.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on, active work environment that involves both indoor and outdoor tasks. You will be required to bend, kneel, stand, and walk throughout your shift. Employees must be comfortable on ladders, semi-confined spaces, and lifting 50-75 lbs regularly. Technicians must also be comfortable working on live, functioning client sites, as well as working in a team or independently. Typical work hours range from a start time of 6-8 am, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Irwin, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
