Job Title: Inventory Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking an Inventory Specialist to work in the kitting area of our warehouse. This role involves managing and maintaining inventory records both digitally and physically, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our systems.
Responsibilities
+ Work approximately 70% of the time at a computer using various systems including MAMM, Supermarket, and SAP.
+ Operate material movement equipment such as standup forklifts and electric carts for 20% of the time.
+ Conduct physical inventory counts and ensure that they match system records.
+ Locate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
+ Print and audit inventory reports generated through Cat systems.
+ Maintain accurate records of inventory counts and adjustments.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with inventory tracking and data entry.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and SAP systems.
+ Comfortable using standup forklifts and other vehicles in a warehouse setting.
+ At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.
+ Ability to work with data entry systems and order tracking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Prior experience with SAP or MAMM systems.
+ Experience as a 4Q Auditor, Inventory Analyst, or Materials Specialist.
+ Comfortable working at heights and operating forklifts.
+ Strong attention to detail and attendance record.
+ Ability to bend, twist, and lift as needed to manage inventory.

Work Environment
The position offers three shifts: 1st shift (7am-3pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11pm), and 3rd shift (11pm-7am), with overtime opportunities available. Employees will enjoy a 10-minute break every two hours and a 20-minute paid lunch. Training will be classroom-based for the first two weeks, covering system use and forklift operation, with a test at the end to ensure competency. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes, work pants, a bump cap, a high-visibility vest, and safety glasses.

This is a Contract position based out of Decatur, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
