Job Summary
Auburn University’s Office of Information Technology is seeking a collaborative and motivated individual to join our Cloud Services team! This position will have the opportunity to help design and optimize enterprise collaboration platforms and digital workplace services. Whether you’re just starting your career or bring years of experience, we value your unique perspective and commitment to learning! This role supports secure, scalable, and user-centered digital experiences across cloud-based environments, with opportunities for mentorship and growth.
This position is located in Auburn, Alabama and working onsite is a requirement of the job.** **_May work up to 2 days hybrid remote in local area with supervisor’s approval after completion of probationary period._
Essential Functions
+ Assist in designing and implementing workplace solutions using platforms like Microsoft 365, Zoom, or Google Workspace.
+ Learn to integrate AI-powered services to improve automation and productivity.
+ Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and help develop technical solutions.
+ Support governance and lifecycle strategies for workplace tools, with guidance from senior staff.
+ Provide technical support and contribute to documentation and process improvement.
+ Stay informed about emerging technologies through training and team collaboration.

Associate Systems Engineer (MA45):
High school diploma and 8 years of relevant experience OR
Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 0 years of experience.
Systems Engineer (MA46):
High school diploma and 11 years of relevant experience OR
Associate’s degree and 7 years of experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience.
**Scope of experience:** Relevant IT experience in the administration of distributed computer systems

+ Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, APIs).
