    Design, develop, and implement PLC programs using Allen-Bradley platforms and configure HMI applications (FactoryTalk View ME/SE) for machine interfaces and operator controls. Commission new automated equipment and integrate it into existing assembly lines. Troubleshoot and optimize control systems to improve cycle time, reliability, and safety. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers to ensure seamless integration of automation systems. Support production teams with controls-related issues and provide training and documentation as needed. Ensure all control systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and develop PLC programs using Allen-Bradley platforms.

    + Configure HMI applications for machine interfaces and operator controls.

    + Commission and integrate new automated equipment into existing assembly lines.

    + Troubleshoot and optimize control systems to enhance cycle time, reliability, and safety.

    + Collaborate with engineers to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.

    + Support production teams with controls-related issues.

    + Provide training and documentation for control systems.

    + Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

    Essential Skills

    + PLC Programming experience with Allen-Bradley.

    + Familiarity with GM standards.

    + Experience with commissioning and debugging in automotive or industrial environments.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Expertise in GM standards and safety regulations.

    Work Environment

    The role is set in a manufacturing and automation environment where you will work on high-impact automotive projects. There is potential for multi-year extensions, providing a great opportunity to gain experience with GM standards and contribute to innovative manufacturing solutions.

    This is a Contract position based out of Brookville, Ohio.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
