Job Title: Architectural Designer Job Description

As an Architectural Designer, you will lead project management on multiple wood frame multi-family projects, as well as a 5-story concrete frame and high-rise. Your role will include designing and putting together construction documents, conducting client calls, reviewing bids and budgets, performing site visits, and handling design approvals, permitting, and punch listing.

Responsibilities

+ Lead project management for wood frame multi-family projects and a 5-story concrete frame high-rise.

+ Design and compile construction documents.

+ Conduct client calls and review bids and budgets.

+ Perform site visits and manage design approvals.

+ Handle permitting and punch listing processes.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in architectural design.

+ Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.

+ Strong skills in construction administration.

+ Experience in schematic and design development.

+ Project management expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 2+ years of experience in architectural design.

+ 2+ years of experience with Revit, open to AutoCAD.

+ Experience in commercial and multifamily architecture projects.

+ Familiarity with wood frame, multi-family projects.

Work Environment

The office is located in Uptown next to Knights Stadium, offering a beautiful setting that is walking distance to many restaurants and is about to be fully renovated. The office is home to 30 people, with 95% of their business focused on multi-family projects, predominantly wood-frame. The firm offers a hybrid work schedule and a clear growth plan towards becoming a Project Manager.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
