Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer with a focus on power design. You will lead board-level power design and power supplies, overseeing the layout process executed by a team of designers. This role involves working on cutting-edge next-generation firewall products.

Responsibilities

+ Lead board-level power design projects.

+ Oversee the layout process handled by a team of designers.

+ Design power-specific features for PCB, including onboard power, hot swap, DC-DC, and AC/DC.

+ Work on routers, servers, switches, and firewalls.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Cadence and Allegro.

+ Expertise in DC power, hot swap, and board design.

+ Experience with PCB layout and power electronics.

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing power-specific features for PCB.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with AC-DC is a plus.

+ Automation experience is advantageous.

Work Environment

You will work onsite five days a week with a high-level team. The work schedule offers flexible arrival and departure times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Jose, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
