Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Systems Consultant to join our team on a contract basis in Bloomington, Indiana. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to streamline payroll processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate across departments and contribute to the development of effective payroll solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document payroll workflows to identify areas for improvement and alignment with organizational goals.

• Conduct in-depth process evaluations across HR, finance, and departmental teams to ensure consistency and compliance.

• Provide recommendations to optimize payroll operations and enhance system efficiency.

• Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials for timekeeping and payroll procedures.

• Facilitate the integration of committee recommendations into practical payroll processes.

• Oversee system implementation tasks, including data migration and database alignment.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful system conversions and operational transitions.

• Act as a consultant to provide expertise on payroll systems and best practices.

• Support ongoing adjustments to processes to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Requirements • Proven experience in payroll system implementation and consulting.

• Strong knowledge of system conversions and database migration processes.

• Expertise in process mapping and workflow optimization.

• Ability to develop and deliver effective training modules.

• Familiarity with compliance standards and efficiency practices in payroll operations.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-departmental engagement.

• Experience with data migration and system alignment projects.

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate and recommend operational improvements.
