    MANTECH** seeks a motivated and career-focused Naval **Systems Engineer** to join our team **onsite** in **Washington, D.C.

     

    In this role, you will support high-visibility Navy programs by delivering expert technical analysis and innovative solutions that enhance mission success and operational excellence.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Plan, design, and implement systems infrastructure, including hardware and software components

    + Analyze, modify, test, and maintain systems to meet performance, security, and compliance standards

    + Verify and validate systems to ensure alignment with internal and external requirements

    + Provide expert diagnosis and solutions for system issues in existing and new environments

    + Conduct engineering evaluations to support on-time, on-budget project completion

    + Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop and execute project plans

    + Review policies, procedures, and performance reports to maintain regulatory and operational standards

    + Develop schedules, budgets, specifications, and resource plans for engineering projects

    + Select materials, tools, staff, and vendors to support system development and deployment

    + Lead or contribute to high-visibility Navy programs through specialized technical and business expertise

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

    + 4+ years of relevant experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience supporting or working directly with the U.S. Navy, either as active duty, a government civilian, or a support contractor

    + Familiarity with U.S. Navy technical authority, such as NAVSEA 05

    + Experience working with U.S. Navy Program Managers in an analyst capacity

    Clearance Requirements:

    + Must hold an active Top-Secret clearance.

    Physical Requirements:

    + The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

    + Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
