ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Lead a functional team of CDM professionals through product design, development, production and sustainment phases of a program
+ Lead and manage CDM activities span all phases of the program life cycle
+ Manage Contract Data Requirements List and Supplier Data Requirements List and generate key CDM metrics to track progress and maintain continuous improvement
+ Develop CM processes to establish and maintain consistency of a product’s performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life cycle.
+ Plan and coordinate the preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.
+ Lead configuration verification and audit to provide highly reliable sources of configuration information to support contractual obligations
+ Functional Responsibilities:
+ Conduct goal planning, performance evaluations merit budgeting
+ Provide technical guidance related to process and training to staff
+ Conduct weekly flow-down meetings with assigned staff
+ Attend weekly flow-down meetings with the Department Manager
+ Support staffing needs as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 9 years engineering experience - OR a master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of engineering experience
+ Must be able to demonstrate experience in Data Management to include Subcontract Management and Contract Management, and in Configuration Management to include Configuration Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Verification & Audits and Configuration Status Accounting.
+ Must be able to demonstrate experience facilitating technical boards and audits
+ Knowledge of Configuration Management industry standards: MIL-HDBK-61B, EIA-49-1, -2, etc.
+ Recently demonstrated knowledge of Systems Engineering practices
+ Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government secret clearance (DOD must be in scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Specific domain expertise in Software Configuration Management
+ Working knowledge of hardware & software configuration control and defect tracking systems.
+ Experience utilizing a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software system, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and database experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
+ Experience in managing Change Control Board processes and supporting Engineering Change Boards and Change Control Boards (CCB’s)
+ Advanced STEM Degree
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
+ Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government top secret clearance (DOD must be in scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
+ Knowledge of EIA-649 or MIL-HDBK-61B.

Primary Level Salary Range: $135,100.00 - $202,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
