    CTG is seeking to fill a Security Specialist opening for our client in Manhattan, NY.

     

    **Location:** Manhattan, NY (Hybrid Remote)

    **Duration:** 9 months

    Duties:

    + Utilize CA ACF2 to control access to TSO (ISPF), application data, and system files including JCL libraries and program libraries.

    + Develop and update ACF2 rules based on authorization from end-user agency security officers.

    + Develop access for sequential datasets, DB2 databases, IMS databases and transactions, LDAP, CA-Scheduler, and system services (e.g., JES2).

    + Modify and maintain user groups; add or remove users as needed.

    + Test security product upgrades and maintain documentation of product usage and procedures.

    + Perform installation of certificates, end-user re-certifications, password resets, review access violations, generate user access reports, and manage rules libraries backup/restore.

    + Provide ongoing product education and ensure compliance with industry standards for product use.

    Skills:

    + Proficiency in CA ACF2 for developing security profiles, establishing user IDs, and resetting passwords.

    + Knowledge of Top Secret or RACF security software.

    + Strong understanding of information security policies, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.

    + Experience maintaining SSL certificates and working with role-based security models.

    + Familiarity with mainframe environments: z/OS, JES2, SMP/E, TSO, IOF, JCL, IOCPIHCD.

    + Experience with monitoring tools: TMON, Mainview, OMEGAMON.

    + Development and automation experience: COBOL, REXX, JCL, PROCS, CTLCARDS.

    + Experience with IMS and DB2 database systems.

    + Knowledge of file transfer protocols such as FTPS and Connect:Direct.

    + Familiarity with Rational Tools (ClearQuest, ClearCase), CA Scheduler, Workload Automation dSeries, and PeopleSoft PeopleTools.

    + Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills in production environments.

    + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

    + Ability to adapt to changing workloads and evolving security requirements.

    Experience:

    + Extensive experience with CA mainframe security software (ACF2, Top Secret, or RACF).

    + Hands-on experience in large-scale financial or government environments.

    + Proven experience responding securely and accurately to audit and investigatory requests.

    + Experience with enterprise-wide projects and standard SDLC methodologies.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or 10+ years of equivalent experience.

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
