Hourly position: Starting pay between $17.00 - $21.00.

Position Summary
The position answers inquiries and obtains information for general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties. Provides information regarding activities conducted at establishment, location of departments, offices, and employees within organization. Maintains the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
Principle Accountabilities
+ Operates telephone system to answer and forward calls, provide information, take messages, and schedule appointments.
+ Greets persons entering the office, determines nature and purpose of visit, and directs or escorts them to specific destinations. Provides information about the business such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
+ Schedules appointments and maintains and updates appointment calendars. Keeps a current record of staff members' whereabouts and availability.
+ Collects, sorts, distributes, and prepares mail, messages, and courier deliveries.
+ Takes orders for merchandise or materials and sends them to the proper departments to be filled.
+ Performs administrative support tasks such as proofreading, transcribing handwritten information, and operating calculators or computers to work with payment records, invoices and other documents. Operates copy machine. Prepares copies for distribution. Files and maintains records. Processes and prepares memos, correspondence, or other documents.
+ Researches data to determine answers to questions from customers or members of the public. Transmits information or documents to customers using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
+ Performs duties such as taking care of plants and straightening magazines to maintain lobby or reception area. Coordinates the organization and cleanliness of mail room counter tops and shelves.

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated administrative experience. Other desired qualifications include:
+ Ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and co-workers.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word Processor).
+ Exceptional phone etiquette.
