Job Posting: School Aide – Special Education Support

Work Hours :35 hours/week

Position Summary

We are seekingdedicated and compassionate School Aides to support students with instructional and behavioral needs in a specialeducation setting. Under the supervision of the special education department,classroom teacher, or designated supervisor, the School Aide will assist increating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

In addition toclassroom support, the School Aide may provide personal care services includingphysical mobility assistance and therapeutic care, as directed by licensedhealth professionals.

Minimum Requirements

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

+ Adherence to professional standards of practice

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)

Ideal Candidate

+ Passionate about supporting students with diverse needs

+ Comfortable working in a special education classroom

+ Able to assist with minor behavioral redirection and engagement strategies

+ Team-oriented and proactive in supporting lead teachers and staff
