Position Summary:

Assists Manager and Director in general accounting activities.

ompletes accounting functions requiring knowledge of general accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and a broad understanding of the overall corporation.** **Prepares internal/external analysis of data to assist senior management in their decision-making and/or problem resolution.** **Performs daily, monthly and yearly accounting activities, assuring quality accounting work, meeting or exceeding all deadlines.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities As Assigned:

1. Prepare monthly journal entries in an accurate and timely manner.

2. Perform analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts.

3. Assists with the preparation of audit schedules.

4. Identifies problems relating to job processes and recommends solutions.

Qualifications:

_Required:_

+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

+ One year of experience in accounting/finance.

+ An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

_Preferred:_

+ Previous health care experience.
