Position Overview

Amergis HealthcareStaffing is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to joinEducational School Health Division. As a SchoolNurse , you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality student careand contracted health services in a school setting. You may also serve in asupervisory capacity within the scope of contracted services.

This role is idealfor both experienced nurses and new graduates with a passion for pediatric and school-based care. Hospital or school clinicexperience is a plus!

Responsibilities

+ Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate student care

+ Deliver services in accordance with physician orders and Amergis Healthcare Staffing’s standards

+ Support student health needs including chronic condition management, medication administration, and emergency response

+ Collaborate with school staff and health professionals to promote wellness and safety

+ Maintain accurate health records and documentation

Minimum Requirements

+ Graduate of an accredited registered, practical, or vocational nursing program

+ Licensed as an LPN in Virginia or compact state

+ One year of professional experience preferred (new grads welcome)

+ Current CPR certification

+ PPD test or chest x-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
