As an Instructional Aide, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students who require instructional and/or behavioral assistance. Under the guidance of the special education department, classroom teacher, and designated supervisors, you’ll help foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

+ Assisting with classroom instruction and individualized learning plans

+ Supporting students with behavioral and emotional regulation strategies

+ Providing personal care and physical mobility support as needed

+ Collaborating with rehabilitation professionals, social workers, and healthcare providers to meet therapeutic care needs

+ Promoting independence, confidence, and academic success for all students

? Minimum Requirements

To be considered, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray clearance (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)

+ Compliance with all federal, state, and local employment requirements

+ Commitment to professional standards of practice and ethical conduct
