    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Systems Programmer based in Dahlgren, Virginia. This Programmer must have a Secret clearance and 3+ year's experience creating and maintaining SQL databases and working within a SQL database administration. This Programmer will be working with other developers to design database solutions, oversee database performance and security, and troubleshooting and fixing issues within the database. Strong experience with SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle databases and applying DISA STIGs to the SQL databases is also important. This Programmer must also have strong communication and analytical skills to work both independently and with the team. Desired experience for this role includes an understanding of Git and GitLab, as well as Redis and NoSQLDBs. The salary for this role ranges from $115,000-$135,000, depending on experience.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 3+ year's experience creating and maintaining SQL databases and working within a SQL database administration

    • A Secret clearance

    • High school diploma or bachelor's degree

    • Experience overseeing database performance and security, and troubleshooting and fixing issues within the database

    • Strong experience with SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle databases and applying DISA STIGs to the SQL databases
