**Schedule:** PRN
**Shift** : Call minimum 7 days a month; including 1 weekend and dayshift weekdays as available.

Provide wholistic care for patients that extends to the spiritual level by praying with patients and families. Chaplains are available to meet with patients, families and team members 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide spiritual support.
Help develop a brand new $150 million community hospital and medical office building that will provide services such as Emergency Services, Medical/Surgical, ICU, Womens Services, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Interventional Cardiology and Gastroenterology.

The role you'll contribute:
Responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with department protocols. This position assists physicians with interventional procedures such as transesophageal and stress echocardiograms. This role ensures knowledge and execution of all applicable departmental processes, and assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures.

+ Performs routine and complex studies, in addition to assisting with a variety of imaging procedures.
+ Consistently obtains the highest quality scans possible in relation to patient body habitus.
+ Adapts procedure to each patients medical situation obtaining all available necessary information for proper interpretation.
+ Enters testing conditions, observations, test results, and patient demographic information into patient records.
+ Communicates abnormal findings to the reading physicians and notifies the physicians of procedures to be interpreted.
+ Performs scheduling, insurance verification, authorization, coding, billing, and reimbursement activities.
+ Sets up and adjusts imaging equipment while manually maneuvering transducers to perform exams.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:
**Minimum qualifications** :
+ Associate's Degree
+ Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) **OR** Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) **OR** Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) **OR** Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
