    Required Skills:

    Production Network Engineer Responsibilities:

    1. Design and deploy new network architectures and related tooling.

    2. Develop automated methods to mitigate and remediate network events.

    3. Analyze data to diagnose and identify root causes to network issues.

    4. Develop and maintain consistency within the network infrastructure.

    5. Develop optimized network monitoring systems.

    6. Test new network products and pilot them in production DC networks before a mass rollout.

    7. Develop test automation integrated in CI/CD pipeline to qualify network software before push in production.

    8. Develop test automation frameworks.

    9. Develop tests that qualify complex network migration procedures in lab/emulation before executing the same in production.

    10. Test software features in FBOSS (NOS software) partnering with in-house software development teams.

    11. Qualify and push vendor software releases in the fleet.

    12. Build and operate DC test lab networks.

    13. Participate in DC network on-call rotation.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    14. Requires a Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field and 3 years of work experience in the Job offered or in a computer-related occupation

    15. Requires 36 months of experience involving the following:

    16. 1. At least one programming language: Python, Perl, C/C++, or Go for developing automation software or tooling

    17. 2. Configuring and troubleshooting routing protocols: BGP, OSPF/ISIS

    18. 3. Understanding of TCP/IP transport

    19. 4. QA testing network devices for production networks or pre-production networks

    20. 5. Knowledge of configurations and performance tuning

    21. 6. Developing and understanding network device configuration for at least one vendor: Juniper, Cisco, Arista, or Brocade

    22. and 7. Understanding of network hardware and topology failures

    Public Compensation:

    $225,569/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
