Position Details:
**Location:** Bloomingdale Health Hub - Valrico, FL
**Status:** Fulltime/Salaried
**Shift Hours:** 8:00am - 5:00pm
The Manager of the Fitness Center serves as a strategic and operational leader, responsible for the comprehensive oversight of the Center’s financial performance, program delivery, and member engagement. This role ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality health and wellness services while driving membership growth, fostering community relationships, and cultivating a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
+ Financial Leadership
+ Provide fiscal oversight including forecasting, budgeting, and cost control.
+ Ensure financial targets are met and resources are allocated effectively.
+ Operational Excellence
+ Direct and/or coordinate all aspects of facility operations, including medical fitness, group exercise, personal training, and massage therapy.
+ Maintain seamless daily operations and respond promptly to emergent needs.
+ Membership Growth & Community Engagement
+ Represent BayCare in the community to promote programming and drive membership growth.
+ Develop and implement strategies to enhance member recruitment and retention.
+ Client & Member Relations
+ Build and sustain strong relationships with clients and members to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.
+ Team Leadership & Development
+ Hire, supervise, and mentor Center staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
+ Performance Monitoring
+ Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
+ Customer Experience & Advocacy
+ Champion exceptional customer service standards and act as an advocate for the Center’s mission, programs, and team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelors Degree - Exercise Science or Related Field
Required c** **redentials:
+ BLS (Basic Life Support);
+ AED (Defibrillator)
Required Experience:
+ 5+ years of Health Fitness experience
+ 3+ years of experience in a Supervisory role
