VP/ Chief Operating Officer - BayCare Women's Medical Group Summary:

+ The VP/Chief Operating Officer, BayCare Women’s Group is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the strategy, operations, and performance of BayCare’s Women’s medical group.

+ The executive works in collaboration with Women’s Clinical Institute leadership to develop and implement an integrated Women’s Health Institute that spans the continuum of care—addressing the full life cycle of a woman’s health needs.

+ Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of BayCare Health System, collaborates with clinical, strategic, and operational leaders to deliver high-quality, compassionate care, ensure efficient management of resources while advancing long-term strategies that improve outcomes, increase access, and enhance the experience of women and families across BayCare’s footprint.

+ The role balances day-to-day operational execution with visionary leadership to create a destination model for women’s health.

+ Key responsibilities include providing leadership for all operational aspects, collaborating on strategic planning, overseeing financial performance, implementing quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, developing a high-performing team, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Education:

+ Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Experience:

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in Healthcare Management, with at least 5 years in a Senior Leadership role in an OB/GYN or women’s health medical group/practice setting.

Other Skills Includes:

+ Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans.

+ Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and fiscal management.

+ Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to navigate and lead within a highly matrixed organization, leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills to build consensus and drive collaboration across diverse teams and departments.
