Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

+ Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation in line with established manufacturing sequences and lead times.

+ Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to monitor daily schedules.

+ Expedite operations that may delay schedules and adjust plans to address unforeseen conditions

+ Prepare and maintain production planning reports.

+ Develop daily schedules based on optimal capacity utilization.

+ Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data; perform calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and resource requirements.

+ Create master schedules to establish sequence and lead times for operations to meet shipping dates aligned with sales forecasts or customer orders.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Experience in production or resource planning.

+ Strong understanding of production processes and supply chain procedures.

+ Solid analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills for data analysis and forecasting.

+ Strong commitment to safety.

+ Proficiency with Windows-based software.

+ Quality-conscious and excellence-oriented.
